MELIHAT INDONESIA, PURWAKARTA — Kecelakaan beruntun terjadi di Tol Cipularang KM 92 arah Jakarta pada Senin (11/11) sore. Kecelakaan ini diduga dipicu oleh truk bermuatan berat yang mengalami rem blong dan menabrak lebih dari lima kendaraan di depannya. Hingga kini, jumlah pasti kendaraan serta korban kecelakaan masih dalam pendataan oleh petugas.
Kabid Humas Polda Jawa Barat, Kombes Pol. Jules Abraham Abast, mengonfirmasi kejadian tersebut. “Rem blong karena muatan truk yang cukup berat, sehingga menabrak kendaraan di depannya,” ujar Jules di Bandung.
Polda Jawa Barat telah menurunkan 10 personel dari Korlantas Polri, PJR Polda Jabar, dan Satlantas Purwakarta untuk membantu evakuasi dan mengamankan lokasi kejadian. Sementara itu, tim kepolisian masih melakukan olah tempat kejadian perkara (TKP) untuk memastikan jumlah kendaraan dan penyebab pasti kecelakaan.
Akibat kecelakaan ini, arus lalu lintas dari arah Bandung menuju Jakarta mengalami kemacetan hingga KM 95. Untuk mengurangi kepadatan, Polda Jabar menerapkan rekayasa lalu lintas dengan mengalihkan kendaraan keluar di Exit Tol Cikamuning, lalu masuk kembali melalui Pintu Tol Sadang.
Pihak Jasa Marga juga mengalihkan arus kendaraan dari arah Bandung menuju Jakarta keluar melalui Gerbang Tol (GT) Cikamuning di KM 116, dan masuk kembali melalui GT Jatiluhur di KM 84.
Agni Mayvinna, Senior Manager Representative Office 3 Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division, menyampaikan bahwa petugas JMTO bersama ambulans, derek, dan tim penyelamat telah berada di lokasi untuk proses evakuasi.
“Kami memohon maaf atas ketidaknyamanan yang terjadi dan mengimbau pengguna jalan untuk mengantisipasi perubahan cuaca serta memastikan kendaraan dalam kondisi prima,” ungkap Agni. (**)
